As deadline for movie fans to vote their favourite movie celebrities approaches, Multichoice Africa has announced that it is still receiving vote entries for the sixth edition of Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 2018).

In a statement released in Lagos yesterday, it urged film lovers across the continent to vote “for your favourite actors and actresses in a movie or TV series.”

“The seven categories open to public voting at this year’s edition include:

Best Actor in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series),

Best Actor in a Drama (Movie/TV Series),

Best Supporting Actor in a Drama (Movie/Series),

Best Actress in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series),

Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV Series),

Best Supporting Actress in a Drama (Movie/Series) and

Best Short Film or Online Video.

“To vote for your favourite nominees, visit the Africa Magic website www.africamagic.dstv.com and click on the AMVCA 2018 tab. Voting closes Sunday, 24 August 2018,” the statement reads.

It also noted that the 2018 AMVCAs is organised by Africa Magic in association with MultiChoice Africa and the sponsors, Airtel and Konga.
