Dear sir, as one of your staunch supporters who wants to see the success of your administration, I want to use this opportunity to advise you to stop the proponents of the ‘Ganduje Sak’ (‘Ganduje all-through’ in Hausa) slogan. They simply want to create trouble between you and your political affiliates by all means, which is why they have started the youth mobilization. Are they not aware that you have massive support from Kano youth considering your success at the governorship election that saw you ascend as executive governor, or what?
The youth constitutes 65% of the total population of Kano and have participated fully in seeing you become governor, so Your Excellency disregard this so-called ‘youth mobilization’. Why is the mobilization happening now, not before and during the elections? These are people who campaigned against you before the election, while those they are regarding now as your enemies are those who campaigned for you wholeheartedly. I challenge those ‘youths’ to present their contributions during your campaign, especially on social media. You will be shocked, sir.
I even learnt that some powerful government officials have a hand in seeing that they create trouble between you and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is the leader of APC in Kano State, because of their selfish interests. So, this issue of youth mobilization is a useless one, as you have already mobilized the youths, even with a majority of them in Kano are Kwankwasiyya-leaning and any bona fide follower of that ideology is your supporter by default and has worked for your success.
Many among the conveners of ‘Ganduje Sak’ youth mobilization are losers in the recent primary election that was conducted by our great party at different positions, going on to put the blame on Kwankwaso, calling him all sorts of names. Because of these, and many other reasons, they promised to create trouble. Kwankwaso is the strongman of Kano politics, and it cannot be wise to go against him, especially over flimsy reasons and edging by sinister elements of the state’s politics.
However, so far, I have observed you have tons of respect for our amiable Senator, so please try and maintain that. Those enemies of Kano should be forgotted, ignored and dusted away. Call them to order and put them to shame, tell them that you and Kwankwaso are inseparable, forget about them and focus on building our beloved state. Your success in all aspects, is our hope. I know you as a listening leader, so I hope you will take my advice into consideration. Best Regards.
