ANA Authors Prize 2015 announced

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has announced the winners of its 2015 ANA Authors Prize.  
In the drama category, the winner is Dickson Ekhaguere for ‘Unstable,’ poetry, Servio Gbadamosi for ‘A Tributary in Servitude,’ and prose, Maryam Bobi’s ‘Bongel’ and Obinna Udenwe’s ‘Satans and Shaitans.’ emerged as winners.
The Abubakar Gimba Prize for Short Stories went to Olubunmi Familoni for ‘Smithereens of Death’ and Ngozi Chuma-Udeh Prize for Children’s Writing went to Nnenna Ihebom for ‘The Magic Mirror’. 
Winners for the drama, poetry and prose category got N100, 000 each, the winner for children’s writing N50, 000, while the winner for short stories went home with N250, 000. 
ANA has a number of literary prizes award categories for both published and unpublished works cutting across all the genres of literature and open to Nigerian writers, at home and abroad, with the highest being $2,500. These prizes, endowed by institutions and individuals and administered by ANA, are publicly advertised, entered for, judged by reputable panel of judges and awarded every year.
