Malam Denja Abdullahi, president of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) is set to unveil two books during a literature and arts festival tagged ‘Denja at 50’.

The event is scheduled to take place on August 27 at Cinema Hall, Cyprian Ekwensi Cultural Centre, Garki, Abuja.

Abdullahi’s works, titled ‘The Road to Bauchi and Other Poems’ and ‘On His Turf Vol II’ will be released at the occasion, which will also feature a staging of his Nigerian Prize for Literature shortlisted play, ‘Death and the Kings Grey Hair’ by The Visage Theatre, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

There would also be a public lecture, themed ‘Leadership and Institution Building in the Creative Industry’, to be delivered by Prof. Sunday Enesi Ododo from the University of Maiduguri.
