ANA reappoints Richard Ali its Review Editor

The Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, has appointed poet, novelist and publisher, Richard Ali, as the editor for its annual journal, ANA Review.
Ali’s appointment was contained in a statement by the Association’s Secretary General, Dr. Ofonime Inyang.
Richard Ali, author of the novel, City of Memories, was first appointed editor of the journal in 2014 while still serving as the PRO North of the association and was credited with expanding the scope of the review to include contributions from the whole of the continent.
The Review, the official journal of the Association of Nigerian Authors, has been continuously published since 1981 following the formation of the association in 1980 by Chinua Achebe.
In the same breath, ANA also announced its call for entries for the 2016 ANA Review. It asks writers in Nigeria and beyond to submit no more than six poems or no more than 4,000 words short stories or fiction excerpt.
Academic and literary essays on subjects related to literature should not be more than 5,000 words, while drama skits should not exceed 3, 000 words, according to the statement.
