Anambra State government has arrested 75 people allegedly involved in illegal   revenue collection and other criminal activities in Onitsha.

The suspected illegal revenue collectors were arrested across different locations in the state by the state task force on collection of illegal tolls, stealing and extortion.

The suspects were paraded before traders in Onitsha by the Commissioner for Commerce, Markets and Wealth Creation, Christian Madubuko.

Madubuko said the state government has lost several millions of naira to the suspects, who he said were bent on defrauding the state.
