About 500 youths are to receive a three weeks training in various skills and entrepreneurship development by the Anambra State government in collaboration with the Bank of Industry (BoI).
Commissioner for Sports Redevelopment and Youth Entrepreneurship, Dr Uju Nwogu, who disclosed this in Awka, said plans have been concluded with the partners for effective training and take-off of the would-be entrepreneurs after the exercise.
“The state government through the M Ministry of Sports and Youth Entrepreneurship is commencing a training which is on contemporary skills in the areas of ICT, building technology, confectionery, fashion designing and phone repairs,”she said.
She said the project is part of the current administration`s effort to make the youths in the state self dependent and job creators, charging the participants to be of good conduct.
