The Anambra State Coordinator, National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Robinca Odigwe, has been honoured with a Community Service Award by the Rotary Club of Awka, GRA, Anambra State.
Odigwe, who was awarded alongside other selected distinguished personalities, was presented with the award for her selfless service and outstanding contributions to humanity, particularly the corps members in the state.
Presenting the award to the NYSC boss in Awka, the newly installed president of the chapter, Danielson Ositadimna, said that the award was earned by recipients who have distinguished themselves in their various areas of vocation. 
He said that the awardees were selected based on their honesty, tolerance and service to humanity. 
Responding, Odigwe, who said that the award came to her as a surprise, added that prior to the day she was approached with the award proposal, she never met with any member of the association.
She appreciated the body for finding her worthy for the award. She said that the award would be guarded jealously, believing that it would spur her to more responsibilities.
The coordinator  dedicated the award  to the corps members serving in the state.
