The facilities commissioned also included a cafeteria designed for use of food vendors to be contracted to cook for students as the students are not allowed to cook in their hostels.
President of ANAN, Alhaji Sakirudeen Labode who performed the commissioning of the facilities, said the facilities were born out of ANAN’s mandate to make the Nigerian College of Accountancy a standard and comfortable citadel of learning for professional accountants.
Director General of the college, Dr Joseph Femi Adebisi said the new two blocks of hostel, each with capacity for 56 students, would further boost the college’s readiness to accommodate its students, as the college already had six blocks of hostel of same capacity (56 beds each) before the two new blocks were constructed.
The ultra-modern cafeteria which has 10 kitchens and a large dinning hall, Adebisi explained, would be rented to 10 caterers who would cook and sell to students according to laid down rules and standards.
