Aneke completed a move from former Cup winners, Kaduna United after a deal with Belgian club, Ghent broke down.

But before making his Wolves’ debut in Sunday’s game against Lobi Stars, the 21-year-old forward will be officially unveiled by the Warri-based club.

Aneke has also been registered to wear the number 27 jersey this season by Warri Wolves.

The ex-Anambra United man signed a one-year deal with Wolves and is expected to be part of their squad for this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.

Meanwhile Lobi Stars defender Moses Bunde has expressed confidence in the ability of Lobi to hold their own against the home side.

The former U-23 star said Benue State team is battle ready and would give Wolves a run for their money.

“We are ready for Warri Wolves. It is not going to be an easy game because we need the three points much as they do.

“Wolves have never had it easy against us and tomorrow’s (today) match is not going to be different. We are highly motivated for this encounter.

Lobi Stars handled by former international Dominic Iorfa lost the opening match 2-0 to Gombe United and would be looking for the maximum points against Wolves.
