Nigerian Ankara fabric is the hottest and latest fashion trend. The Nigerian fashion industry has turned Ankara from being a locally known fabric to an international one. It is now designed in such a way that people of other races now flaunt it.
Ideally clothes make you feel great and it allows you to really express yourself and your mood wherever you go. You can never underestimate what our Ankara can do. Nigeria fashion industry in 2012 and 2013 fashion trend is something to behold.
Different designers are improving their skills on Ankara styles every now and then, and are coming out with lots of beautiful designs.
Ankara can be combined with different fabrics like lace, chiffon, kente, aso-oke and so on to make beautiful outfit for offices, casual and occasional wears. Gone are the days when it was only commonly used among the Yoruba, Igbo or the Hausa. The style also has gone beyond the “iro and buba” for the Yoruba, “two two and blouse” for the Igbo and “wrapper and blouse” for the Hausa to jacket for office and occasional wear, flowing gown, bag and shoe designs, bangles and ear rings and so on.
