The police command in Ekiti State has arraigned one Ola Abiodun (40) at the Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti for allegedly stealing two phones.

The prosecutor, Inspector Elijah Adejare, told the court that on November 11, 2025, at about 12:30 pm at the stadium area in Ado-Ekiti, the defendant stole one Vivo phone valued at N100,000, belonging to Omodolapo Oluwasinayomi, and an Itel phone valued at N15,000, belonging to Risi Ayoola.

Counsel to the defendant, Barrister Gbenga Ariyibi, urged the court to admit his client to bail.

The Magistrate, Mr. Kehinde Awosika, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like sum.

The case was adjourned until December 11, for hearing.
