A fresh  bomb blast has killed at least three persons in Madagali town, in northern part of Adamawa State.

The blast was the second on Friday after seven persons had died in a similar attack on Malkohi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Yola at about 11am earlier in the  day.

The Adamawa State Commissioner of Information, Ahmad Sajoh put the death toll in Malkohi camp  attack at seven but could not immediately give details on the Madagali incident.

He said the details on the incident in Madagali were still sketchy.

However, local residents told Daily Trust that a female suicide bomber killed herself and at least two others near a check point in the town.
