The corpse of a 24-year-old man, Ealdi Marcus, was on Friday recovered in a bush on the outskirts of Babale community in Jos North LGA of Plateau State.

Our correspondent reports that the killing of Marcus, whose certain organs were removed, came barely two months after a 14-year-old girl, Maryam Salisu, was killed on the outskirts of the same community with some of her organs removed.

Blues Samuel Bulus, a vigilante commander, explained that, “We saw people whose movements suggested that all was not well. We interrogated them and they told us that they were searching for their brother who disappeared on Saturday.”

He said, “Before they came to us, we were already told that a corpse was discovered in a bush. We told them to go and confirm if the corpse was that of their brother. They went and confirmed that it was the body of their brother. The residents have appealed to the government to rise up to the occasion and arrest the perpetrators of the killings.
