Man jailed 8 months for stealing wrappers
A Kaduna magistrates’ court on Wednesday sentenced a 33-year-old man, Salisu Abubakar, to eight months’ imprisonment for stealing wrappers worth N830,000. A Kaduna magistrates’ court on Wednesday sentenced a 33-year-old man, Salisu Abubakar, to eight months’ imprisonment for stealing wrappers worth N830,000.
The magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, however, gave the convict, a resident of Liberia Road, Malali, Kaduna, an option of N50,000 fine.
Emmanuel warned Abubakar to desist from committing crime and ordered the return of the stolen wrappers to the owner.
