A 75-year-old man, Ibrahim Ejibade, a resident of William Street in Jos, Plateau State, Sunday accused the arrested ‘doctor’, Noah Kekere, popularly known as Yellow, of removing his right kidney during a hernia operation in 2021.
Ejibade said his kidney was found missing at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) during a scanning.
Daily Trust reports that this is the second time former patients of Kekere would accuse him of removing their kidneys.
The ‘doctor’ was arrested by the police for allegedly removing the kidney of one Mrs Khende Kamal without her knowledge.

Speaking to journalists Sunday in Jos, the latest victim, Ejibade, said the suspect operated on him after telling him that he had a hernia.
Muhammad Sani Ibrahim, Ejibade’s son, gave an account of how his father’s kidney was found missing.
He said, “Sometime in 2021, our father was taken to Murna Clinic and Maternity Hospital and was eventually operated upon, after which our father continued to complain from one form of problem to another.
“On March 28, 2023, we took him to JUTH for a general checkup and the result of the scanning showed that one of his kidneys had been removed.
“We didn’t want to tell our father then because of his health condition but the doctor categorically told me that the kidney was removed.
“Recently, when we heard of the story of Mrs Kehinde Kamal whose kidney was allegedly removed by the same ‘doctor’, September 13, we decided to go to Rayville Radiology for scanning and the result indicated that his right kidney was removed. Kekere was the ‘doctor’ who operated on my father. We have both results of the scanning with us.”
The son of the victim said they would report the case to the police for further action.
He called for justice from the relevant authority.
Commenting further, the victim, Ejibade, said he had trusted Kekere but was surprised he removed his kidney without his knowledge.
Meanwhile, police in Plateau State Sunday said they had returned Kekere, who was mentally ill, to the cell after spending days at the psychiatric department of JUTH.
Kekere had exhibited traces of mental disorder in a police cell and the police took him to the hospital for treatment.
Police spokesperson in Plateau, DSP Alabo Alfred, confirmed that the suspect has been returned to the police command.
