The product which is one of the new mattresses launched by Sarafoam makers in Lagos is said to have been produced with anti-mosquito repellents.
Speaking at the mattress launch in Lagos, the Managing Director of Sara Products in Nigeria, Afzad Rana said the introduction of Sara anti-mosquito foam alongside Sara Prestige and Sara Fire Retardant mattresses is purposive as it is geared towards complimenting government effort in fighting the scourge of malaria in the country.
“In addition to government’s efforts to combat the scourge of malaria in the country, we have decided to come up with this product known as Sara Anti-Mosquito mattress.
It is an initiative geared towards anti-malaria environment. The mattress repels all insects and yet it is harmless to human beings because it is ideal and comfortable to sleep on,” Rana said.
According to the Managing Director, the anti-malaria mattress like the other mattresses of Sarafoam is a product of years of extensive period of hard work by the Research and Product Development unit of the firm.
He added that the mattress has undergone relevant medical test and has been certified for human usage.
