The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 21 election in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has promised to address educational deficits in the state by hiring over 5,000 teachers.
Speaking at an APC educational grants and women empowerment programme in Benin, Okpebholo also pledged to improve school infrastructure across the state.
On his part, Omoredo Osifo, deputy treasurer of the party, described the party’s candidate as the most compassionate and better suited for the role than all other candidates.

“Okpebholo is passionate and genuinely cares for the people. We know his background, and he is determined to make a positive impact,” Osifo stated.
