A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Musa Yahaya Muhammad, has called on residents to remain calm, even as he urged security agents to ensure justice prevailed over the killing of a 30-year-old man, Mohammed Agbolo, last Thursday night at Agyana village of Abaji Area Council.

Muhammad, who is also a former chairman of the council while reacting to the incident in an interview with our reporter over the weekend, said he was saddened over the incident which occurred at his home town (Agyana) community.

He described the incident as unfortunate, saying there has been peaceful and harmonious relationship between Ganagana natives and Gbagyi   as well as Bassa in the community.

He said the Ganagana people have been cohabiting with Bassa and Gbagyi people in the community, adding that they even celebrate festival and even marry amongst themselves.

City news recalled that a native of the community Mohammed Agbolo, was alleged to have been stabbed while separating a fight among two youths last Thursday in the area.
