APC chieftain lauds Masari’s education reforms

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Architect Ahmad Kabiru Abdulahi, has commended the educational reforms of Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State.

He said the strides had earned the state a presidential award in a sector where about N10billion was spent to upgrade and remodel primary and secondary schools.

In a statement, Kabiru who is the Executive Secretary, Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission, lauded the presidential award to Girls’ Day Primary School, Malumfashi as the second best school in Nigeria during this year’s World Teachers Day celebration in Abuja.

He noted that the governor promised to upgrade public schools to the standard where parents would withdraw their children from private schools to government schools.
