APC Group accuses Jonathan, PDP of using insurgency to dodge election

The Coordinator, North-east Zone of the group, Malam Suleyman Malami Ahmed, in a statement he issued at the end of group’s meeting in Bauchi, alleged that it was no longer news that Jonathan and PDP were exploring ways of using the insurgency to refuse holding elections, noting that the insurgents have suddenly changed from chanting the words Boko Haram to Election Haram and commenced the distribution of pamphlets and fliers, warning people of the consequences of going out to vote.
He expressed his dissatisfaction with what he described as election phobia exhibited by the PDP, saying it was a scheme to scare voters.
Malami said resolutions were reached by the apex organisation during its emergency meeting to discuss the lingering issue of Bauchi State APC gubernatorial primary poll, especially on the court case initiated by an aggrieved gubernatorial candidate, Abdullahi Tanko Ningi, which the organisation said violated the gentleman’s agreement reached with all candidate who participated in the primary elections of the party.
The coordinator lamented that Jonathan and the PDP have continued to display  cowardice in such a manner that even those who did not go to school would know they were scared of going to the polls to face the inevitable victory of General Muhammadu Buhari.
