PDP has alleged that the ruling APC is responsible for bandit attacks and abduction of innocent Nigerians in the North West.
In a statement, on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Olognondiyan, PDP said: “After all, the APC was responsible for the importation of bandits as their political mercenaries in 2019.”
When contacted, Secretary of the APC Caretaker Committee, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, described the allegation as baseless and unsubstantiated.
Senator Akpanudoedehe, who reacted via a telephone chat with our correspondent last night, said the allegations were meant to blackmail the APC-led government, which he said, was doing everything democratically possible to end insecurity and better the lives of Nigerians.
