The APC has inaugurated its convention committees to ensure the success of its presidential primary on Tuesday.

The committees are budget, finance and logistics, accreditation and decoration, security and compliance, election planning, transportation, accommodation, media and publicity, medicals.

 Others are legal, venue and site servicing, election appeal, hospitality and welfare, protocols, digital communications, preconvention/management, presidential screening appeal and accreditation of diplomats.

Virtually all the committees are headed by state governors who are members of the party.

Inaugurating the committees on Sunday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu said the convention is a special one because it is expected to produce the party’s presidential candidate for 2023.

Speaking after the inauguration, Kebbi State Governor and Chairman of the convention planning committee, Atiku Bagudu said all hands would be on deck to ensure the success of the exercise.
