The Speaker read the lawmaker’s letter of resignation to members of the House.

In the letter, Hon. Isimbabi recalled his political journey, noting that his certificate of return was issued under the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and that he was sworn in as a member of the 7th Assembly on that platform.

He explained thatad following the crisis that engulfed the national leadership of the NNPP, he left the party.
