APC must unite to retain dominance in North West — Zonal chair

The new national vice chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad, has said the party must unite to retain its dominance and political relevance in the region. 

The zonal chairman spoke during his inaugural meeting with zonal executive officers at the party’s zonal secretariat in Kaduna.

A statement yesterday by the zonal publicity secretary of the APC, Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada, revealed that the zonal chairman stressed the need for unity and harmony in the zone to step up the party’s fortunes in the region.

He acknowledged the importance of the North West zone to the political development of the country, saying the zone must remain committed to ensuring its status does not erode politically.

He pledged to utilise his vast experience and connections to bolster unity and cohesion among party members in the geopolitical zone, stressing that the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was equally committed to ensuring that the APC succeeded in the region.

Recall that Muhammad was sworn in on Friday, August 25, 2023, following the resignation of Salihu Mohammed Lukman, on July 26, 2023.
