A public affairs analyst, Dr Abdulrahaman Sade, has described the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a bridge builder whose leadership style is helping to stabilise and reposition the ruling party.

Sade, an Abuja-based media consultant, said the APC chairman has demonstrated an inclusive approach to party management by prioritising dialogue, consultation and reconciliation among different interests within the party.

According to him, the chairman’s engagement with party stakeholders across regions and tendencies reflects a deliberate effort to strengthen internal cohesion and promote unity ahead of future political contests.

“The APC national chairman has shown himself to be a bridge builder who understands the importance of carrying everyone along,” Sade said.

“At a time when political parties are under pressure from internal divisions, his emphasis on consensus and dialogue is commendable.”

Sade added that the chairman’s approach has reduced tensions and created room for constructive engagement, noting that such leadership is critical for a party of APC’s size and diversity.

“The strength of any political party lies in its ability to manage differences without imploding. What we are seeing is a leadership style that seeks common ground rather than deepening fault lines,” he said.

Sade, who is also president and founder of the Sadauki Foundation, a foundation for orphaned and vulnerable persons registered in Nigeria, urged party leaders to sustain the culture of dialogue in the interest of democratic stability.
