The All Progressives Congress (APC) senate caucus has raised the alarm over alleged fresh moves by the presidency and the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to remove chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Professor Attahiru Jega by next week.
Senate minority leader George Akume who led other APC senators to brief journalists said credible sources in government have informed them of a plot to send Jega on three months pre-retirement leave by next week.
