APC sets up appeal c’ttees for Kogi, Bayelsa gov’ship primaries

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has named three-member appeal committees for the recently conducted primaries for Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections.

A statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, said the Kogi Indirect Primary Appeal Committee has Senator Abdullahi Umar Yandoma as chairman; Hajiya Amina Muhammed, secretary; and Tony McFoy,  member.

The Bayelsa Direct Primary Appeal Committee has Barrister Shuaibu Aruwa as chairman; Edith Newman Amadi, secretary; and Abdul Malik El-Yakub, member.

Chief David Lyon won the APC governorship ticket in Bayelsa State, while incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello secured the ticket in Kogi State at their separate primaries.
