Support groups of the APC under the aegis of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Organisation have said they are set to receive the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 polls, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Kano on July 30, 2022.
The state Coordinator, who is the Managing Director of the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and the state Consumer Protection Agency, Baffa Babba Danagundi, said the organisation was a voluntary movement for the actualisation of set goals ahead of the 2023 general elections.

He said, “We have had meetings in preparation with all the parties in place, and after Sallah work will start immediately. We will not run away; we have been tested in our political journey and we are still here. Let’s work within our capabilities and the sky shall be the limit.”
Danagundi called on all their supporters to observe synergy in the running of the campaign activities in line with the party’s structure.
On his part, the Director General, Coalition of Support Groups for Bola Ahmad Tinubu, Akin Thomas Babajide, said they were in Kano to intimate the teeming supporters of Tinubu ahead of his visit on July 30.
He said, “We want to reach out to the North, starting from Kano as the home of Tinubu, and we have seen the readiness of all supporters to receive Tinubu on the 30th of July.”
