Gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state Senator Aisha Alhassan had, while declaring the ocassion open, told the trainees to be vigilant and ensure that what was due for the party at the polls was appropriately recorded in the right documents.
She urged them to see themselves as agents of change and avoid being lured by money bags that may attempt to induce them to change outcome of the elections.
“You are agents of change who are expected to be firm and make a lot of sacrifice in order to better the lives of our people in the future,” she said. “We have today entered a social contract with all of you to ensure that you stand firm in ensuring that the APC is not shortchanged during the elections.”
APC chairman in the state, Alhaji Hassan Ardo, enjoined the officers that as party agents, they were carefully selected and bestowed with the confidence of the party to ensure that APC’s votes were religiously protected during the elections.
