A member of the House of Representatives from Oyo State, Aderemi Oseni, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will produce Governor Seyi Makinde’s successor in 2027.
Oseni, representing Ido/ Ibarapa East Federal Constituency of Oyo state Hon. Aderemi Oseni, said APC cannot to remain in the opposition in 2027.
He blamed the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for its failure to attract federal projects , programmes and partnerships vital for progress and development.
Speaking in Ibadan while addressing leaders of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) in the 33 local governments and wards in the state, he pointed out that the state is currently facing the consequences of being on the political sidelines.

Oseni expressed optimism that the APC will produce the next governor of the state so as to align with the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
“We are taking over power in this state come 2027. APC will produce governor for this state in 2027. I will lead the battle. It doesn’t matter if I become the governorship flag bearer of our party or not. I will be very active in the process. In fact, I will lead the battle that will make sure that our dear party, the APC return to power in this state.
“What I did in Ido/Ibarapa in the last election is more than enough to speak for me. I’m the only one in the whole of this state that was not challenged in the Court after the election because of the magnitude, I mean the size of number of votes I have, you dare not confront a lion.
“I’m the only person throughout the county that delivered all the polling units in my Constituency for President Tinubu. So, no forces or coalition of political parties that can stop re-election of President Tinubu in 2027.” the lawmaker said.
He charged members of the group to work relentlessly for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu to consolidate on the renewed hope agenda of his administration which he said is yielding positive results in all areas.
