‘APC will reclaim Benue in 2023’

The chairman of the seven-member State Supervisory Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) registration exercise in Benue, Alhaji Muhammad Ali Mashi, has expressed optimism that his party would reclaim the state in 2023.
Mashi, during a press conference in Makurdi, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing APC registration/revalidation, noting that the exercise has so far been successful.
“The exercise, which started on February 9, 2021 in the state was beautiful and so far successful. From the look of things, the APC will take over the state in 2023,’’ he said.
The team leader, who said the second tranche of materials for the extension of the exercise had already arrived the state and in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), enjoined all the party supporters in the state to cooperate with one another in the interest of the party.
