APC wins at Obasanjo’s polling unit

Former President, Chief Olusrgun Obasanjo has again won his polling unit for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship and houses of assembly elections on Saturday.

In the result announced at the Unit 22, Ward II in Abeokuta North local government, the APC governorship candidate, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun polled 95 votes, as against the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, who got 4 votes.

The SDP candidate got 11 votes. In the House of Assembly results, the APC again got 85 votes, while the PDP and SDP got 8 and 14 votes respectively.

Meanwhile, the ruling party in the state is having a lead in former president local government area. Majority of the units’ results indicated that the APC had recorded majority votes than other parties.
