The Court of Appeal in Kaduna has reserved Thursday for judgment in the appeal by the Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the last election, Alhaji Isa Mohammad Ashiru, against the judgement of the election tribunal which upheld the declaration of Governor Nasir el-Rufai of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner.
Ashiru is challenging the declaration of El-Rufai as winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The five-man Justices of the appeal court reserved the judgment after presentations and adoption of written addresses.
The five-man panel of justices was made up of, UI Anyanwu, HAO Abiru, TY Hassan, BM Ugo and BB Aliyu.
