Kani Computer Technologies Limited has offered 50% discount scholarship to four Kano students to study at Aptech in Nigeria and Middlesex University London, Chairman of the company, former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Suleiman Abba, said.
The chairman made the discloser during the commissioning of the Aptech training centre in Kano. The company is a franchisee of Aptech computer education and Multimedia Animation Training Centre, an Indian education and training IT Company.
According to the chairman, the main reason behind opening the centre in Kano was based on the need for IT education in present day Nigeria adding that with computer education a lot of national issue can be addressed without much difficulty.
“I am a beneficiary of good education in this country and in everything you do, training is vital key to successful operations. We have opened the centre that will run various computer courses with special discounts and today we have also gave out 50% discount scholarship to 4 students. Two of the students will study in Aptech Kano and the other two will study in Middlesex University London,” the former IGP said.
Similarly, regional manager West Africa Middlesex University Madam Oluchi Nwambara said Aptech computer graduates would had the opportunity to study for only one year in London to obtain their bachelor degrees, adding that there were other privileges attached to Aptech graduates in Middlesex University.
