At it’s maiden presentation at the Archangel Michael Chapel at the Senior Police Quarters, Maitama, the group thrilled parishioners with series of  short plays performed live on the red-carpeted  stage.
In his exaltation, the Chaplain, Rev. Father Raphael Oluwaseun Fagbohun, admonished the audience, who were mostly members of the chapel’s congregation, to open their hearts in order to understand the message of God to them through the plays.
He said preaching the gospel through drama was biblical, as according to him, God used prophets to convey His messages to human beings through drama.
“God used prophets Elijah and Jeremiah to talk to His people, so it is not something new. It is something that has happened in the Bible so I will encourage you to just open your hearts and receive the word of God from the stage,” Fagbohun said.
The drama series, which was tittled: Sea of Forgiveness, depicted God’s abundant love and infinite mercy to humanity. The drama portrayed God as as an ever forgiving God, who relates with man through His special grace.
A captivating scene in the drama shows a young beautiful girl crying uncontrollably before the sacred alter in church when a priest enters. The priest takes the girl to his office where he hears her confession. She confesses to using infants for rituals. The priest prays for her and asks God to forgive her.
