Are Nigeria youths really lazy?

I think what Mr. President need to say in the Commonwealth meeting is Nigeria in its entirety is a country of lazy people, because when youths between the ages of (18-40) has 60% population, and this age grade happened to be the work force, the labour force and the back bone of every society, then you are just indirectly referring to Nigeria as a whole.

It is with greatest surprise we the Nigeria youths receives this most shocking bombshell and gaffe of the century from our own president.

Is it the thank you we deserve from you? We stood firm come rain or shine to make sure we voted out an incumbent president in your favour? Have you forgotten so soon the financial contribution we raised for you through Buhari support organization (BSO), Buhari will be ungrateful if he has forgot so soon about how hundreds of Nigerian youths lost their lives in the cause of celebrating his victory in 2015 general elections.

President Buhari, have you also forgot about the campaign promises you made regarding youth and creating employment opportunities for them? They haven’t seen anything yet after three years of your very unbearable leadership. This youth haven’t witness the change they voted for, the only where you deserve a credit regarding employment is the N-power scheme, and you should be commended for that, even though the writer of this piece isn’t a beneficiary. President Buhari, have you so soon forgot that more than 60% of Nigerian youths are not civil servants? They struggle and find means of survival, secure and protect themselves through vigilantes groups because your government can’t guarantee them security they deserve as citizens.

Before majority of us were thinking Buhari is the only honest Nigerian and a Messiah that will salvage this nation, but thank God you will still come back to the lazy youth soliciting for their votes. If we didn’t deserve commendation I don’t think we deserve condemnation.
