The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rauf Aregbesola, has condemned the destruction of the party’s property in Ekiti State on Tuesday.

Aregbesola said it was unfortunate and shameful that a product of the democratic process can exhibit such despicable acts in the name of politics.

He made the remarks in Ado-Ekiti immediately after inspecting the destruction at the ADC Secretariat before members of the state executive of the party were inaugurated.

The thugs destroyed and burnt down the ADC Secretariat, about 1000-capacity canopy and another canopy of 150 capacity at midnight.

They also returned to destroy more property at about 12 noon on Tuesday.
