The Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has expressed his commitment to grace the 2015 IJSC Awards Ceremony slated for Saturday, December 26, at Timsed Hotels and Holiday Centre, Ijebu-Jesa in Oriade Local Government Area of the state.
Aregbesola is scheduled to be the Special Guest of Honour at the annual event billed to draw dignitaries from all parts of the country and abroad.
The ceremony which is being organised by the Ijebu-Jesa Social Club, Ibadan Branch, has as its main theme, “Youth Empowerment as indices for human capital development.”
A statement signed by the Secretary of the Planning Committee, Mr. Dele Ogunyemi noted that eminent personalities expected to grace the event include Mr. Oluwole Oke, Chairman, House Committee on Public Procurement at the National Assembly; Chief Bandele Aiku, SAN, a renowned legal icon and Mr Babatunde Ojo, a notable Lagos-based architect.
Distinguished personalities slated for Awards of Excellence at the event are Mr. Oluseyi Onajide, Managing Director and Chief Executive of R. T. Briscoe (Nigeria) Plc; Mr. Tunde Aiku, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria; Air Vice Marshal Samuel Oluwagbemiga Abosede (rtd.), former Director of Operations, Headquarters, Nigeria Air Force; Engr. Olugbemiga Abudiore, a renowned Water Engineer and Dr. Akin Fajola, Regional Community Health Manager at Shell Petroleum Development Company.
