A group of students under the aegis of Arewa Student’s Voice (ASV) has berated the Kano State government over its decision to provide free education in the state.
The students asked the government not to deceive the populace on what could not be practicable.
Director media and publicity of ASV, Comrade Adam Idris Adam, called on the Kano State government to ensure that education is free as it promised.
He said students ought to know the position of government. “Government should come out and publicize the truth for the students to know. Things are getting worse because students are paying unnecessary fees in schools.”
