Nigerian airline operator, Arik Air had been conferred with ‎Julius Agwu Corporate Brand‎ Award.‎
At a brief ceremony in Lagos, the popular stand-up comedian and initiator, Julius Agwu presented the award to ‎Arik Air Managing Director, Chris Ndule.
In his remark, Agwu said the award is in recognition of Arik Air long relationship and assistance to Julius Agwu brand and  the   entertainment  industry at large.
“This is in recognition ‎of Arik Air effort in assisting home-grown talents which include not only me, but many others out there. We appreciate the fact that you have always been there for us and the fact that you are proudly Nigerian. So, on behalf of Julius Agwu brand, I present this award to you,” Agwu said.
“We appreciate this award which is recognition of our Corporate Social Responsibility. We understand that most of the stories you hear about the country outside are not palatable and it is the reason we decided on our part to project the country’s image positively using this industry,” Ndule said.
The Arik Air MD also urged other talents in the industry to strive for excellence, noting that except they put in their best in whatever they do, it may be difficult for corporate organizations to go into partnership with them.
