The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai at the weekend commissioned two twin chalets built by the Nigeria Army for participants of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru near Jos in Plateau State.
The chalets which were built within months are also furnished and equipped to standard and named ‘Lt TY Buratai chalets.’
At the commissioning, Buratai who was represented by the Director General, Nigeria Army Recue Centre, Major General John Hamakim said the idea of the chalets was conceived when the COAS visited NIPSS to deliver a lecture and was informed of the infrastructural challenges facing the institute.
