Two newly promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks recently in Kaduna.
They were pipped by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division Nigerian Army Kaduna, Major General Muhammad Muhammad.
They are Brigadier General John Obaje and Brigadier General Obinna Onubogu.
Speaking during the decoration ceremony Major General Muhamad charged the newly promoted officers to work hard in order to excel in their chosen career.
He said, “You should remain dedicated and focused and expect more challenges ahead because to whom much is given, much is expected.
“As a Brigadier General, you have lots of responsibilities and you will be a commander who will shape and mould the men you are made to command, it is you duty to ensure the men adhere to the rule of engagement of the Nigerian Army.”
He further charged them to be upright in discharging their constitutional duties with a view to moving the Service to greater heights.
Brig Gen Obaje in his remarks said, “we remain committed to the service of our great country.”
