A female soldier whose fame went viral following a marriage proposal from an NYSC Corps member at the Yikpata Orientation Camp in Kwara State has been detained by the Nigerian Army according to reports.
Eons Intelligence, a security and intelligence platform stated that the female soldier has been detained by the Nigerian Army authorities for violating service guidelines.

Although the Nigerian Army and NYSC are yet to comment on the arrest, Eons Intelligence revealed that the female soldier was identified following the circulation of the viral video clips and detained at a military facility in Ilorin.
It was learnt that Army authorities could have detained the female soldier for supposedly violating the following army guidelines.
Recall that the incident which took place during the Passing Out Parade of the NYSC Batch B, Stream 2 during the week saw a yet-to-be-identified NYSC corps member kneeling and proposing to the female soldier, surrounded by fellow corps members who cheered the duo on.
