The medical team of the 1 Mechanized Division Headquarters of the Nigerian Army has given free medical service to 2000 residents of Kamugu and other communities in Birnin Gwari LGA of Kaduna State.

The head of the medical team, Lt-Col. Godwin Ogoh, said the gesture was informed by the need to have a good civil/military relations and ensure that residents of the communities are healthy.

The free services which included eye treatment, deworming of children, high blood pressure test, dental, malaria and typhoid treatment was with the support and contribution of the GOC, the division, the state government and the WHO.
