Soldiers of the Nigerian Army from the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Ogun State, have intercepted 365 pieces of pawpaw size wraps of Indian hemp weighing about 176 kilogrammes.
They also arrested one 25-year-old Fatai Bankole in connection with the illicit drug.
The Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu, while handing over the drug to the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Ogun State Command, said the suspect was arrested by troops on routine patrol at Olodo Imeko Imeko – Abeokuta Road.
The Garrison Commander, Colonel Legborsi Deedum Nule, represented Gen Aminu.
