The Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade of Nigerian Army, Alamala, Ogun State, Brigadier General Muhammed Aminu, has called on the support of community leaders as part of the ongoing “Exercise Still Water” in the South West.
The operation aims at taming criminal activities within the ember months.
Aminu spoke at Ilese-Ijebu in Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State, shortly after commissioning borehole donated by LT Col PA Adewunmi, the Commanding officer 12 Field Engineer Regiment.
Aminu also donated educational materials to students of Ilese Comprehensive Senior High School, Ilese-Ijebu, as part of civil-military activities of the 35 Artillery Brigade.

In his remarks, the Brigadier General told residents and leaders of the ancient community that the fight against insecurity requires collaboration of all stakeholders.
He asked the communities to always assist the military particularly in sharing of information that the operatives can act upon.
Aminu said the donation of borehole and the education materials was part of the Army’s commitment to give back to the society.
The Elese of Ilese, Oba Oluremi Obayomi said the citing of an Army has been a blessing to the community in the last 40 years and pledged the community’s support for the Army in the fight against insecurity in the state.
