The Nigerian Army Headquarters Garrison has trained 174 personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, on the use of modern security tools.

The one-week training, held in Abuja, was themed “Enhancing Tactical Efficiency Through Modern Security Tools.”

On Monday, Major-General Maxwell Dangana, the Garrison Commander, addressed the trainees and urged them to use their newly acquired knowledge and skills to positively impact society.

Represented by the Garrison Training Commander, Brigadier-General Ndareke Orok, he advised the personnel not to waste the knowledge imparted, emphasizing that the program was designed to enhance the NSCDC’s role in protecting lives and property.

In his remarks, the FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Olusola Odumosu, said the skills acquired in areas such as radio communication, map reading and interpretation, security signs and symbols, navigation, and drone operations would significantly boost his officers’ operational capabilities.
