Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested a man, Faruk Obarili, over the alleged murder of one Andrew Osimen (56) in Idumegan Quarters, Uhiole Ekpoma, Ekpoma, Esan West LGA.

The state’s Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, said the police received a complaint from the brother of the deceased, Sunday Osimen, that his brother was assaulted by the suspect and that he was taken to the Ekpoma General Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

He said the suspect had made a statement and confessed to the crime.
