Zimbabwe’s Minister of Higher Education Jonathan Moyo says he feels like being “summoned by lions to their den” after he was arrested yesterday for alleged abuse of office and misappropriating $400,000 (£320,000) of government money. Mr Moyo was freed on bail and was expected to appear in court yesterday. He has repeatedly denied the allegations following the investigation launched by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC). In a tweet yesterday morning, Mr Moyo said: “It feels like being summoned by lions to their den!”
